We intend to design a 3 Dimensional virtual model of the MHHS Campus to produce a map that will prove to be much more beneficial to students than the one we have in place currently. In the end, we would like for students to be able to input their Student ID codes, have their schedule pulled up, and their classes highlighted on the map. This will allow students to see where their classes are at and be able to "walk through the halls" of the Virtual High School to find their classes without searching through the map and room numbers and hallways. I have noticed that LED headlights are bright and irritating to many people at night. There are currently no restrictions on the colors or tints of these headlights. Hammock Garden is a project to give the younger residents of Mountain Home a place where they can hang out with friends. We plan on making a hammock garden- A pattern of poles with hooks that can hold a large amount of hammocks- somewhere in the community to give students a place to take their hammocks and relax with friends. Currently we have a engineer, construction crew, and painter along with the total bid of the project taking us to a budget around $2,700. In an effort to increase female interest in STEM, we have founded an all girl FIRST Tech Challenge robotics team. We mentored a group of young girls while they built a robot that competed in a competition on December 3rd. Although no awards were won, all of the girls are inspired to continue onward with STEM pursuits.

To take advantage of the increasing number of foreign exchange students at MHHS, we plan to introduce Nelson Wilks Herron students to a unique cultural experience. In doing so, we would like to teach the students about various countries through crafts and presentations led by the exchange students.

So far we have had six presentations. These presentations covered the countries of Germany, Norway, Spain, Romania, Brazil, and China. Some fun crafts we have done include making Brazilian masks and traditional Romanian decorations, they have also been able to enjoy snacks like fortune cookies from China. Our group must find a way to solve the problems stated in the our essential question, "How can we improve the CET classes to give more real-world situations while relieving some of the burden placed on the District Tech Department and assisting Teachers/Students with personal technology?". There are several complaints about students coming in too late to eat breakfast, not having time, and not having enough food to eat. The 2nd chance breakfast is an idea for kids to be able to get food if they need it. We will provide 3D tours for MHHS, which will be added to the main website for new students and their parents or guardians. This will allow new students to become more familiar with the school and get a general idea of what it will be like to be here. We have now received the Ricoh Theta S camera, and we have believe once we are finished that we will be able to quickly and efficiently put the tours on the MHHS website through a program called HoloBuilder. We have made substantial progress in the project. There are many pictures on the Holobuilder program, and we have found a way to put the tours into a website through the html code. With this, all we should have to do now is label the rest of the rooms and create a web page on the MHHS website that will hold the program for tours. We are also exploring the possibilities of using this tech to help inform emergency response personnel of our school, its layout, and the best courses of action for different potential emergencies.

BigLil Mentoring is a program designed by high school girls for middle school girls. Our mission is to encourage, build friendships and develop self worth. The idea originated three years ago after one high school girl's little sister came to her for help. She then realized not every girl has a sister or role model to look up to. BigLil founders, Rachel Bruton and Linnsey Dunavan, then worked together in EAST and were able to find community sponsors and a location for the monthly meetings. The program has continued to thrive and in its third year and has sixteen BigLil pairs. So far, this year has been packed with exciting meetings and even a summer retreat. We have built trust between the pairs, had guest speakers come talk about skin care, made Christmas cards for elders, had a much enjoyed movie night. We also practiced thankfulness and filled out self-esteem surveys! One evening, we had a dietitian discuss healthy eating habits, which was very helpful because one third of BigLil's members were on diets at the time. We hope to instill character, volunteerism, and confidence in these girls as they begin their journey into adulthood. Visit our website for more information!

We are developing the city ordinance needed to establish a tree board and manage the city's trees, in order to meet the qualifications of a Tree City.

We met with the parks department. The presentation went well and they seemed generally receptive to the program. The mayor, however, is concerned about the possibility of creating complications when the city needs to take action quickly on such things as cutting down dangerous trees to ensure public safety. To address his concerns, we are working towards an ordinance that is worded in a way that will fit the needs of the mayor and the city.

We are also working towards a plan for an arbor day celebration.

Outside of Pinkston on the playground under the big awning, in the middle is a huge coordinate plane for kids to use.

This is for math and science teachers to use for there students to have fun .This is to help the students see it and have more interest. The coolest thing is that the students are the coordinates for the coordinate plane.

The 4th grade at Hackler Intermediate is a part of a 4-H club known as the, Extreme Team. Billie Collins, area director provides educational support to all 4th grade Science classrooms once a month. As part of their program of study, Billie would like MH-EAST to help 4-H club members develop a cookbook. The cookbooks would be sold to raise money for the Extreme Team club. Recipes would be provided by students as part of their unit of study. These cookbooks would also feature connections to Math, Science, and 4-H info. A platform to "Strengthen the Foundations of Learning"
