The raising healthy minds app is a free, personalised, resource to support children to becoming confident and resilient. It provides educators with tools to support children and families with accessible and easy to understand information. This tool may be useful, however it does not specify exactly how it will guide educators how to respond and cater to the needs of children who have experienced trauma. It is also difficult to evaluate its usefulness without having downloaded the app. https://raisingchildren.net.au/guides/raising-healthy-minds-child-mental-health

The article on individual education care plan and individual education plans themselves are more useful for educators. These plans assist the educators to make informed decisions on how to care for a child and meet their goals. This is outlined: https://raisingchildren.net.au/disability/school-play-work/child-care/starting-child-care-disability-autism#developing-an-individual-education-and-care-plan-nav-title

It was made in collaboration with Early Childhood Australia and headspace (both reputable).

A quick scan of their site shows resources for pre-service educators, educators, leadership teams, and action teams within schools. They are providing free tools and resources that are evidence-informed practices. Being free makes them accessible to all educators.

They have a variety of resources for different age groups of children and go further than trauma-informed practices. It includes SEL and cultural diversity. They also provide Professional learning, which can support educators' understanding of student support. It does not appear to be trauma-specific support.

The beyond blue 'be you' website provides extensive information on trauma highlighting the complexity of the topic as there are different types of trauma, three types are recognised by this site: complex, developmental and intergenerational. It can also be vastly different from person to person; the same event occurring for multiple people will result in different outcomes for these people. The site also provides a list of references that supported the page development. There are also external links provided for people seeking to learn more on the topic (one of these includes the emerging minds page on trauma). There is also a 1hr long video resource accessible, titled 'informed practice in your learning community'. I think this site is valuable for providing information on the topic of trauma, without watching the video I cannot assume its value, however this site is highly reputable and recognised.

https://beyou.edu.au/resources/fact-sheets/grief-trauma-and-critical-incidents/trauma
