Initially she was abit unwilling to try the prata as she saw the curry. After letting her know that she can skip the curry, she took a bite on the prata. 
We told her that prata was made from flour and egg and some salt by Indian man. So it is an Indian food. We also showed her how was prata was "flip" out from a dough from YouTube.
After eating, we begin to draw prata. She uses a lid to outline prata shape knowing that is a circle. But after that she start to go off track by starting to draw hair. When I asked her how come prata got hair? Then she continues her drawing then said is a sun. So a "prata-sun", she said. Then she also start draw eyes,nose and mouth. 
I cut out some orange paper for her to paste which resembles the egg in the prata. 
After that she went to took the scissors to cut out some green paper to paste on the orange paper. To my surprise, she can cut pretty straight line.

Elliot saw the light green paper and immediately said we could use that as the Kaya! So I told him to fold it into a square while I prepared the brown paper to make the toast. He glued the brown paper squares to make into the sliced bread toast, then said the yellow paper can be used to make the butter. Oh yes silly momma forgot about the butter! he then placed the butter on the toast, followed by the Kaya, then the final slice of bread. He then added some brown color to show the burnt edges that the classic Kaya toasts may have. He then “enjoyed” his sweet and salty crispy toast. This activity has showed me that he observed such little touches and remembers what is inside the simple little Kaya toast. With paper plate, color papers and tissues, Ethan and his mummy recreated the dish that includes the typical items: fried eggs, coconut rice, fried chicken wings, cucumbers and most importantly the chilli. This is a photo of him with the final artwork as his mummy forgot to take photos while he was doing. Ethan had fun eating, drawing, colouring and using glue to paste.
