Summary: Ken's mother was born and raised in China then later on, moved to the U.S and had her son Ken. Once about 10 years old, Ken started resenting his Chinese heritage and was taking it out on his mother. For years, he and his mother did not talk. Some time after, his mother died. Following her death, he finds a letter that his mother had written to him. This letter contains information that pretty much breaks him.

She goes in detail about how her parents feelings in life affected her childhood.

Summary: A woman is cooking dumplings and all of a sudden, one of them comes to life. The woman treats this dumpling child as her own child and raises him. The film goes through the dumplings childhood and once he tries to leave, the woman eats him.
