Marine Biology

Description - Marine biology is the practice of studying water based/oceanic occurrences or life. Marine biologists have jobs that can range in difficulty depending on what happens or what they want to study. An example of said studying would be if a biologist were to find a new species of ocean dwelling octopi; the marine biologist would then study the creatures habits and figure out how it lives and what it eats to stay alive.

Salary - $16,640 to $189,800 a year (depending on what department you work in or how you help).

Education required - A bachelor's degree could get you the job, however a master's degree would get you into both a better paying and more suitable task/profession. Once a PhD has been acquired, you could earn a spot within an even better spot which would definietly pay more and might be as suitable.

Two reasons why I chose this - I love nature and I love the ocean even more. The reason why this profession interests me is because it involves studying and helping the ocean (and its inhabitants). Only as much as 5% of our ocean has been explored, and even more bizarre, our ocean's floor has barely been explored. Only 1% of our ocean's glorious floor has come to light. The other 99% is clouded in darkness, and whatever lies beyond it more than likely hasn't even been touched nor seen yet.

Nature Journalist

Description - Nature Journalism is the practice of writing down the actions or details within the beautiful world. An example of this profession would be someone who travels to Africa or Alaska in order to jot down the natural occurrences that take place in the nature filled lands, untouched by man.

Salary - $43,640 (it can vary depending on how well your job is done)

Education required - The education needed for this job would be a bachelor's or master's degree in photography.

Two reasons why I chose this - I love nature, it's what naturally defines me. They say to pick a job that you love and you are willing to do, not something you get money from but hate. So, in my opinion this would work perfectly as a profession.
