         <description><![CDATA[<p>A Synagogue is a jewish place of worship.</p><p>The Synagogue has torah scrolls which <span style="font-size: 13px;">are placed in a holy cabinet called the Ark.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 13px;">A Torah scroll is the laws of God which were revealed to Moses and he recoreded in the first five books. </span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In the Jewish religion, God tecahes us</p><p>that everyone is equal. <span>“You shall open your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor”&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>Caring for the less fortunate people in the Jewish society is a basic value.&nbsp;</span></p><p><span>Judaism has Ten Commandments:</span></p><p><span></span></p><p>1) I am the Lord thy god, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.</p><p>2) Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.</p><p>3) Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.</p><p>4) Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.</p><p>5) Honor thy father and thy mother.</p><p>6) Thou shalt not murder.</p><p>7) Thou shalt not commit adultery.</p><p>8) Thou shalt not steal.</p><p>9) Thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbor.</p><p>10) Thou shalt not covet anything that belongs to thy neighbor</p>]]></description>

         <title>Traditional Jewish Practices</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Jewish practices revolve mostly on the ten commandments.</p><p>These practices can be as simple as what you eat or when you work.</p><p>Some Jews only eat foods that the bible allows, These foods are called</p><p>kosher food. Kosher foods include pork and shellfish, or if they mix milk and meat products. Also On major holidays you can't work, and you have to avoid things like writing or driving.</p>]]></description>

On this holiday, a</span><span style="font-size: 13px;"> ram’s horn is blown is blown to “wake up” the people to make them think about how to lead better lives.</span></p><p>Apples and honey are symbols of a sweet new year. This m<span style="font-size: 13px;">arks the beginning of the 10 days of repentance. At the end of these 10 days, it starts Yom Kippur. </span></p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Jews don't just study the torah they also</p><p> study interpretations of the Hebrew bible.</p><p>Those interpretations are made mostly by&nbsp;</p><p><span style="font-size: 12.7272720336914px;">scholars and rabbis. </span><span style="font-size: 12.7272720336914px;">Around 200 C.E those</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 12.7272720336914px;"> rabbis and scholars started to write the Talmud.</span></p><p>The Talmud is a written document of Jewish Law.</p><p>Almost all Jews pass their knowledge on to other</p><p>members in faith.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Israelites were the ancestors of the jewish people. Abraham was the father of these Israelites.&nbsp;Polytheism was a believe of the Israelites in ancient times,  when they believed &nbsp;in many gods. He introduced the belief in a single god to them. God promised to Abraham to be the father of a great nation. Abraham’s children , and their family, and so on became known as the Jewish people.</p><p>Basic teachings and laws are in judaism’s most sacred text, The Torah. This has the five first books of the hebrew bible . The hebrew bible is also known as the Tanakh.</p>]]></description>
