Tiffany

In addition, students should stay in school until they are 18 because if they don't they will likely have a negative impact in their life. According to source 4: radio interview, " Those without a high school diploma have lower earnings, higher unemployment, lower job satisfaction—they even have a higher likelihood of ending up in jail or on public assistance." This is important to consider because if students 18 or older go through four-year college they could get a successful job and help their family, while students who did not get a high school diploma struggle to find a job to help out their family.

Na

Some opponents might argue that leaving school before the age 18 might actually be a good thing. However, this is not true. In fact high school dropouts have an increased chance of ending up in prison or on public assistance. For example, on Source 4, Paul Moran explains, " ... they have a higher likelihood of ending up in jail or on public assistance." As a result, high school dropouts receive lower incomes compared to people that have a four-year college degree. A final reason is that high school dropouts have a higher unemployment rate compared to people who have gone through college and got their degree. Clearly then, my claim is better because most high school dropouts are usually unsuccessful, due to the fact that dropping out of high school will affect their well-being and whether or not they get a high paying job.

Mali

More importantly, students should stay in school until age 18 because if they get a high school diploma You could get into a good school and a four year college degree and be successful in life. The most compelling evidence reveals that on source 3: Data Analysis ,it shows that if you get high school diploma you’ll get $27,380 and if you get a four year degree you’ll earn $46,930. As a result, if you graduate high school and college you’ll get the job you wanted and be successful in life, but if you are a high school drop out you'll only earn about $19,540.

Stephanie

Firstly, students should not stay in school until the age of 18, because four- year college costs too much. One key point is that on source 1, people may have problems at home and their parents need their help to earn money, because some parents are not able to find a job that pays them well. For this reason, I think that students do not have to stay in school until they
are, because they have personal reasons at home and need money,

To conclude, students should stay in school until the age of 18 because dropping out of school before graduation will have a negative impact throughout your life. Although, there are people like Bill Gates, dropping out will affect your life the second you step off that campus. You won't earn enough money to support yourself and you definitely won't have the education to help yourself.

Imagine living in a world where everyone around you is dropping out of high school simultaneously. If students just dropped out in high school, they would not get the education they need, and the job they want. As a result, we think that students should stay in school until they are 18 for a well paying job and a better more joyful life.
