Not sure how realistic this would be to make, but I would like to make some kind of "game" to explore gerrymandering.

For instance, there would be a 5x5 grid with red and blue squares in different patterns. Maybe there are more red than blue, maybe there are more blue, maybe there are close to the same amount. Students then are challenged to draw equal sized (but not necessarily shaped) districts.

For a 5x5 grid, the directions would be to divide the 25 squares into 5 districts of 5. Challenges would be:
-make as many "majority red" districts as possible
-make as many "majority blue" districts as possible
-create "fair" borders

Larger grids with more complex red/blue patterns and more districts would up the "skill level". Introducing a third color could be interesting too.

Tool: I'd like to make a tool for easy data collection for students. Something they can use on their phone for sure.

Narrative: The first idea I have is to follow the path of food through the body (or just one part of the body).

Puzzle: The first idea for this is some sort of game to teach the parts of the cell.

I'll be brainstorming more, but these are my first thoughts!
