Step 1 Choose your TEK 
6.10 A  Model and solve one-variable, one-step equations that represent problems related to geometric concepts.

Step 2 
Write a problem related to the TEK on the board.

Step 3
Write sentence stems related to the problem and TEK .

You know your students best
More guided sentence stems if needed.... Less guided sentence stems if not needed.

Step 4 
Have all students read the problem aloud and read the stems aloud together.

Step 5
Share sentence stems with face partner or shoulder partner. Then randomize and rotate call on 3 students to share their completed stems.
