]]> 2016-10-21 19:32:20 UTC https://padlet.com/trinity_hurt20/1u53vezsg13l/wish/132448184 trinity_hurt20 https://padlet.com/trinity_hurt20/1u53vezsg13l/wish/132450187 As a child growing up with his mom, being a single mother, Cruz faced a lot of challenges and struggles.  He lived in an area where at night he would hear gun shots at night while he & his brother were sleeping, they would hear police chases.  There were kids that a young ages hanging outside at all times of the night, and skipping school.  Although, he was tempted to follow that crowd, he didn't .  But, his mom kept him busy and active into sports or something.  Instead of going the wrong way, he chose to do things the right way and he didn't get caught up, and he finished HS and went on to College.

He realize that he loved it. One of the qualities and traits was that he was very tall for his age, and he was bigger than most of the of his team mates, and he was fast.  This would help him in life as far as being a pro athlete. He played the position of a wide receiver and defensive back.
