The environment would be very dirty and smelly causing it to be very harmful for the animals living there. 2. Land pollution- Land pollution caused by mining, farming and factories can allow harmful chemicals to enter into the soil. These chemicals can cause animals and plants to die, disrupting the food chain. Landfills release a green house methane, which may lead to global warming. Water pollution- Water pollution is when waste/chemicals or other particles cause a body of water such as lakes or rivers to become harmful to the animals who live in the water body and drink from it. Water pollution can disrupt and negatively impact the water cycle. Air pollution- When the organisms breathes in smog (which is made out of particles and other gases), it can cause respiratory problems and damage the lungs. Toxic environments are created with hard breathing adaptability. Furthermore, pollutants such as carbon monoxide can also lead to huge respiratory issues on animals.
Noise pollution- Loud noises are known to scare of certain endangered animals and can damage human's physiocological damage and cause hypertension and high stress levels.
3. Humans can practice the 3Rs. We can use reusable bags instead of plastic bags at the supermarket. We can take public transport instead of private cars.

1. Deforestation causes the carbon in the trees to go into the air again, and this causes more carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. Since carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas , deforestation causes global warming. Tropical deforestation is responsible for about 20% of world greenhouse gas emissions.
2 Deforestation affects wild animals, plants and humans in at least four distinct ways: via soil erosion, which can lead to clogged waterways and other problems; via water cycle disruption, which can lead to desertification and habitat loss; via greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global climate change; and via biodiversity losses, which can lead to extinctions and loss of natural beauty.
3. we can do it by reducing carbon dioxide emissions, waste, consumption of natural resources, creating a retreat for wildlife or any other way, it can be defined as sustainable. For, an example is recycling which is an important part of sustainable development. Households and industrial facilities cannot recycle if there is no separated waste collection .
source is:http://www.erdas.co.uk/reducing-the-human-impact-on-the-environment.html
2.https://www.google.com/url?client=internal-uds-cse&cx=partner-pub-2806779683782082:7909562966&q=https://kids.kiddle.co/Deforestation&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwjp4vjc67vjAhVB_XMBHRmqAUYQFjAAegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw396jnPiX9Qr_VbM0tl49PW
3.https://sciencing.com/four-consequences-deforestation-7622.html

1.The effects of global warming are the environmental and social changes caused (directly or indirectly) by human emissions of greenhouse gases. Global warming also occur when trees are cut down, more carbon dioxide will be released to the Earth's atmosphere. With too much of these greenhouse gases can cause Earth's atmosphere to trap more and more heat. This causes Earth to warm up, leading to what we call 'global warming'.
2. Animals are changing migration patterns to avoid global warming. Plants are changing the dates of activity such as trees budding their leaves earlier in the spring and dropping them later in the fall. Some plants may either wither or die from lack of water. For us humans, we may die from dehydration and the heat as the temperature rises or may even feel very thirsty frequently.
3. Everyone can play a part by starting with maybe powering our homes with renewable energy. We can also reduce water waste like taking short showers instead of long showers and turn off the tap when not in use.

Deforestation is considered to be one of the contributing factors to global climate change. The number one problem caused by deforestation is the impact on the global carbon cycle. Gas molecules that absorb thermal infrared radiation are called greenhouse gases If greenhouse gases are in large enough quantity, they can force climate change. While oxygen (O2) is the second most abundant gas in our atmosphere, it does not absorb thermal infrared radiation, as greenhouse gases do. Carbon dioxide (CO2) is the most prevalent greenhouse gas. Carbon Dioxide accounts for about 82.2 percent of all U.S. greenhouse gas. The deforestation of trees not only lessens the amount of carbon stored, it also releases carbon dioxide into the air. This is because when trees die, they release the stored carbon.deforestation releases nearly a billion tons of carbon into the atmosphere per year. Deforestation is the second largest human-caused source of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere (after fossil fuel combustion), ranging between 6 percent and 17 percent, according to a study published in 2009 in Nature. Carbon isn't the only greenhouse gas that is affected by deforestation. Water vapour is also considered a greenhouse gas. The impact of deforestation on the exchange of water vapor and carbon dioxide between the atmosphere and the terrestrial land surface is the biggest concern with regard to the climate system. Changes in their atmospheric concentration will have a direct effect on the climate.

OTHER EFFECTS OF DEFORESTATION:

Loss of species: Seventy percent of the world's plants and animals live in forests and are losing their habitats to deforestation, according to National Geographic. Loss of habitat can lead to species extinction. It also has negative consequences for medicinal research and local populations that rely on the animals and plants in the forests for hunting and medicine.

Water cycle: Trees are important to the water cycle. They absorb rain fall and produce water vapor that is released into the atmosphere. Trees also lessen the pollution in water, according to the North Carolina State University, by stopping polluted runoff. In the Amazon, more than half the water in the ecosystem is held within the plants, according to the National Geographic Society.

Soil erosion: Tree roots anchor the soil. Without trees, the soil is free to wash or blow away, which can lead to vegetation growth problems. Scientists estimate that a third of the world's arable land has been lost to deforestation since 1960. After a clear cutting, cash crops like coffee, soy and palm oil are planted. Planting these types of trees can cause further soil erosion because their roots cannot hold onto the soil.

Life quality: Soil erosion can also lead to silt entering the lakes, streams and other water sources. This can decrease local water quality and contribute to poor health in populations in the area.

2: Soil Erosion and Loss of Habitats will cause plants and animals living in forests to die as soil erosion can lead to soil falling into animals water sources, disallowing them to have a clean water source to drink from. Loss of habitat will also cause plants and animals to die as they no longer have a place to hunt for prey, protection from thunderstorms etc.

3. Reforestation would facilitate:

Restoring the ecosystem services provided by forests including carbon storage, water cycling and wildlife habitat

Reducing the buildup of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere

Rebuilding wildlife habitats

However, reforestation won't completely fix the damage. For example, forests cannot sequester all of the carbon dioxide humans are emitting to the atmosphere through the burning of fossil fuels and a reduction in fossil fuel emissions. It is still necessary to avoid buildup in the atmosphere. Reforestation will not help with extinction due to deforestation, either. Unfortunately, humans have already diminished the population of many species to such an extreme that they might not recover, even with a massive reforestation effort.

In addition to reforestation, some other tactics are being taken to counteract or slow deforestation. Some of them include shifting the human population to a plant-based diet. This would lower the need for land to be cleared for raising livestock.

Global Forest Watch has also initiated a project to counteract deforestation through awareness. The organization uses satellite technology, open data and crowdsourcing to detect and alert others of deforestation. Their online community is also encouraged to share their personal experiences and the negative effects of deforestation.

Website: https://www.livescience.com/27692-deforestation.html

1. Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change.Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light.Major forms of pollution include: air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, plastic pollution, littering and more. Pollution will make our environment less healthy for not only humans, but also other living organisms like animals and food crops. Pollution will affect our health and diseases which may lead to death.
2. Types of pollution include water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution, littering and more. Air pollution may cause asthma, lung cancer, damages to the immune system, endocrine and reproductive systems, and heart problems. Air pollution includes the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere which causes the Earth to become warmer and this leads to global warming. For children, poor air quality reduces oxygen levels, which impacts development. For the elderly, the small smoke particles that enter the lungs may be impossible to remove. Water pollution account for the deaths of 3,575,000 people every year and the majority of these are children. Water pollution may cause Typhoid, Cholera, Paratyphoid Fever, Dysentery, Jaundice, Amoebiasis and Malaria. It also causes marine animals to die, causing some of them to be close to extinction. For example, oil spillage in the sea causes many marine animals to die. Plastic pollution also affects animals. For example, sea turtles mistaken plastic bags thrown into the sea as jellyfish (their prey), causing them to eat the plastic bags and die. Many animals like seagulls and sea turtles mistaken plastic as food. This causes them to die. These animals may go extinct one day, affecting the food chain.
3. As I am typing this, an estimated 217,360,000 tons of hazardous waste have been thrown out globally this year and 1,152,000,000 tons of waste have been dumped in oceans globally this year ( Yes, just to let you people know, don't ask). The good news is every positive action counts. Firstly, we can use less plastic by bringing a recyclable bag for groceries, recycle plastic bottles by planting plants in them and using fewer plastic straws. By practising the 3Rs, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle, we can also save the environment. Do NOT litter in the ocean and don't dispose of chemicals, paint, in water supplies and drains. Remember to read labels to ensure that the products you buy are sustainably sourced. Together, we can make our world a better place to live in in the future and I know I sound like some kind of person in a talk right now but SERIOUSLY, DO YOUR PART!
References:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pollution
https://www.haze.gov.sg/haze-related-commentaries/Detail/three-years-without-haze-but-singapore-should-not-celebrate-just-yet---today-online
https://www.theworldcounts.com/stories/How-Does-Pollution-Affect-Humans
https://www.theworldcounts.com/stories/how-does-water-pollution-affect-humans

1. Deforestation is the permanent destruction of forests in order to make the land available for other uses. People cut trees down in order to make paper and wood. They also do this to make space for buildings like houses. Deforestation destroys forests which are habitats of many animals. This will destroy the habitats of many species, leaving them exposed to danger. These animals will not survive and may go extinct if we continue this. When we cut down trees, carbon dioxide stored in the trees to photosynthesise will be released, contributing to global warming and the Earth will become warmer. Plants and trees take in carbon dioxide to photosyntesise and give out oxygen. When they are cut down, less carbon dioxide which traps heat and makes the Earth warmer will be absorbed by the plants.
2. Habitats will be lost. In fact, three million people live in forests and there are still many species in the forests that have not been discovered. Forests also create a place for recreations and pastimes. Eighty percent of the world’s known terrestrial plant and animal species can be found in forests, and tropical rainforests are home to more species than any other terrestrial habitat. When these animals' habitats are lost, these animals who depend on the forests will die. These species may go extinct, affecting the food chain.
3. An estimated 18 million acres (7.3 million hectares) of forest, which is roughly the size of the country of Panama, are lost each year and about half of the tropical rainforests in the world have been wiped out, according to the United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

1. The way we’re living, we are already using 2 to 3 times more of the Earth’s natural resources than what is sustainable. If we do not act now, we will see the consequences of depletion of natural resources. The top 3 natural resources being depleted are: water, oil and forests.
Water
The depletion of our water resources is more serious that the current oil depletion. There are substitutes for oil but nothing can replace our drinking water. Only 2.5% of the world’s total water volume is fresh water. Of that 2.5%, 70% is frozen. Yet, 70% of the available fresh water that remains in used in agriculture, 20% in industry and only 10% is being used for human consumption. The consequences are drinking water shortage and food shortage, which will lead to famine.
Oil
Nothing can be moved, manufactured, transported, built, planted, mined or harvested without the liquid fuels that we get from petroleum. Oil is a non-renewable source of energy and accounts for 40% of the energy we use. The consequences are less transportation, smaller economies and higher prices.
Forests
An estimated 18 million acres of forests are destroyed each year. Half of the world’s forest has been cleared. Trees absorb greenhouse gases and carbon dioxide and produce the oxygen we breathe. Forests are the habitats of millions of species. The consequences are soil erosion, global warming caused by the rise of greenhouse gases, extinction of species and loss of biodiversity and Flooding and drought.
2. Humans, animals and plants will soon run out of these natural resources, causing us to die. If we do not act soon, more people will die of thirst in the future and more habitats will be lost which will cause extinction of animals.
3. Estimated 30,000,000,000 tons of resources have been extracted from Earth globally this year. We can do the following to reduce the depletion of natural resources:
- cycle, walk or use public transportation whenever possible
- turn of all appliances when not in use
- conserve electricity
- fix leaky faucets and use recycled water for flushing your toilet
- Harvest rainwater when you can. You can use it for cleaning or watering your plants
- Shower within five minutes
References:
https://www.theworldcounts.com/stories/consequences_of_depletion_of_natural_resources

Deforestation, the cutting down or burning of trees for other uses (like farming, building of homes or production of paper and wood), results in greater greenhouse gas emissions, especially carbon dioxide, a major contributing factor to global warming. When trees are cut down, the carbon dioxide stored in their trunks (which is taken in for photosynthesis). With it being released into the atmosphere and trapping heat, carbon dioxide can cause the rise of global temperatures, not to mention that without trees, we have nothing to take in our carbon emissions, leading to even higher temperatures.
In addition, water vapour, another greenhouse gas, is also affected by the impact of deforestation and these changes in their atmospheric concentration will have a direct effect on climate. An example is global vapor flows from land having been decreased by 4 percent, which can disrupt natural weather patterns and change current climate models due to the exchange of water vapor and carbon dioxide between the atmosphere and the terrestrial land surface. This might cause disruption in animal migration patterns, and wind and water currents.
Yet another effect of deforestation is soil erosion. without the tree roots to hold the soil together, the soil will fall apart, and the worse effects are soil polluting both wind and water bodies/sources, and disallowing animals to have fresh air to breathe or clean water to drink ,both of which are essential for survival. This might not only affect animals, but humans too, with soil erosion leading to vegetation growth problems in the long term as soil becomes less nourishing and weeds begin to reappear over years of use, even though the ash from the burned trees provides some nourishment for the plants and also ensures that land is weed-free at first.
Together with the above stated, there is also habitat loss to consider.
TO BE CONTINUED...
