         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.The Roman Arch was the foundation of Romes's architectural mastery and massive expanse of building projects across the globe.<br>2.Arches were mostly made of stone, brick, concrete, or more recently steel, and wedge shaped blocks.<br>3. Its purpose was to strengthen or support a curtain building such as the coliseum.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.Aqueducts were Roman structures designed to convoy water form a mountain to a city.<br>2.They were specially designed and constructed by a combination of stone, brick and the special volcanic cement pozzoulana.<br>3.Aqueducts were very important to the Romans since these aqueducts powered public baths, latrines, fountains, and private households. They also supported the life stock.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1.In the early years of Rome two groups were made. The patricians and the plebeians.<br>2. Rich landowners made up the patricians, Rome's ruling class. Craftspeople, merchants and farmers formed a larger group called the plebeians.<br>3. 300 patricians made up early Rome's senate or group of representatives. Rome's council was made up of plebeians. Chief executives of the the Roman Republic were consuls.</div>]]></description>

An assembly only elected two consuls each year. These consuls ran the government and army.
