https://padlet.com/marybenitezhdz/1tzorwt18mfj Teaching English in Mexico City is interesting, I enjoy teaching because Mexico is my country I live in my environment with my family and my relatives, I have worked in private schools for young and adult people as well as in public school (primary school). it´s good to work in Mexico city because you have many things to do here, there are museums, parks, cinemas, theaters, an amazing weather, of course pollution too. Talking about of the place to work, it depends where you wants to work, for instance if you want to work in a public school, you need to have at least FCE or CAE, TKE 1,2, 3, Practial, and if you have master´s degree or bachelor in basic education is better, salaries are better if you have more qualifications, and also you have the opportunity to get an indefinite job however the job is very hard you have 35 or 40 students, English´s Coordinators ask you for a lot of administrative work, so you spend many hours preparing all the documents you need to work, moreover your lesson plan. Working in private schools depend what level social economic the school has. if you want to work in Mexico City you need to have qualifications as an English teacher as well good willingness to teach and face with pollution and crowded city. People are kind, friendly on the other hand bad people are wherever as well, so take care yourself.
