I grew up and spent most of my childhood in the town of Tuburan.

During those years, I really loved dressing up and joining a lot of activities, as my mother was fond of them. Although I didn’t get to experience some of the things other kids did because I rarely went outside, as my father was a bit strict and protective, I still cherish the days when I had nothing to think about other than playing.

I am now an incoming third-year college student at Cebu Technological University, Tuburan Campus, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.

My college life has helped me become more focused on my studies and has given me the space to discover and express my passions. Before this, I completed high school at Tuburan National High School, where I began to be more academically active. I attended elementary school at Tuburan Central School.

Exploring my curiosities...

☆ One of my favorite passions is dancing. Dancing helps me feel more confident and free. I've mostly danced only for school purposes and participated in various school dance competitions. Through those experiences, I found the confidence to join a real competition for the first time two months ago, and unexpectedly became a member of a dance group in Borbon.

☆ I also love music. Listening to it and singing different kinds of songs, whether I am doing something or nothing. Music is life for me. It's like a comforting shoulder to lean on or a hand reaching out whenever I'm feeling blue or unmotivated.

☆ I'm a big fan of art. I enjoy drawing, painting, and being creative. I may not be the best at it now, but I always leave room for improvement and hope to become a pro artist one day. I'm also fond of visiting art museums, exploring different artworks, and learning about the meanings and stories behind each creation.

☆ Cooking is another hobby my family appreciates. They say I'm a good cook, just like my father. Back in elementary school, I wanted to become a chef, which is when my interest in cooking started.

☆ Lately, I've been really interested in learning different languages, including sign language, and I want to become a polyglot. I think learning languages lets me connect with more people from different places, even if I'm not very sociable. It can also be a great help when traveling around the globe in the future.

These are just some of my hobbies and interests. I'm always curious and open to discovering new things I might enjoy later.

I have always been grateful for my accomplishments, wether they're small, big, or my proudest.

My proudest accomplishment lately is experiencing a dance competition in my parents’ hometown—it was my first time. At that moment, I truly came out of my shell and showed everyone, especially my family, relatives, and friends, what I had been hiding and what I was capable of. They usually know me as quiet and shy, so it was a special moment to reveal this side of myself. Dancing in front of a crowd was an amazing experience, where I slowly let myself shine.

I have faced many challenges in life as I’ve grown older, and one of them is consistently doing well while pursuing my dream profession. My learning journey has been a constant struggle, it isn’t easy. You really have to study hard, memorize countless formulas, solve complex problems, and create effective solutions. On top of that, I find it difficult to manage my time because I have other responsibilities at home. Sometimes, the pressure becomes overwhelming and I break down. Still, I do my best every time to keep going.

These challenges helped me get to where I am today. They have made me stronger and more determined. Every time I go through something difficult, I learn to keep going, even when I feel tired and overwhelmed. I always remind myself that it’s just a bad day, not a bad life. These experiences have made me even more passionate about pursuing my dreams. Whatever path life leads me down, I trust that it’s all part of God’s plan.

I want to fully pursue what I have been studying and working hard on until now—to graduate, pass the board exam, become a licensed Civil Engineer, and have a successful life with my family. Create a lot of infrastructure that is not only helpful to people but also gives off a good vibe.

I am a K-pop fan. My ultimate group that I have stanned ever since 2018 up until now is Bangtan Sonyeondan, popularly known as BTS. I have also collected some of their merchandise and have been dreaming of attending one of their concerts. The reason I have stan them for so long is that their songs heal and inspire me.
