A time I had experience this is when I was trying raise my act score up . I had a definite goal on the score i was trying to obtain and trying different methods and ways to achieve this. I would constantly take practice test online and search up videos on youtube for tips and ways to improve my score . 

Another time I have experience this is when I took Ap Calculus during high school. Our teacher would give us practice test and aim for an overall score of 4 . Once we finished the test we would see what question I would get wrong and see what category it fell in. I would also see what question I got right. That way I was able to see what I needed to improve and what was holding me back to achieve the desirable goal.

I took Ap physics in high school and probably was one of the most difficult to understand. I did believe it was important, but it didn’t interest me as much and didn’t see it as much. One day the teacher decide to give us an assignment where we would go to a mark and retrieve and record certain information about the specific station in the park. As we did this activities we lean how physics has an impact inn every single impact even including some swings

A time I have experience authentic learning is in college. During my English class we were learning about discourse communities and how each community had their own language. We went out and interviewed people on a certain community and saw how different discourse communities plays a big role in our society and communication with others.

In my algebra class my teacher would divide groups using our strengths and weaknesses. She would intertwined individuals who were strong at topic with people who weren’t as strong in that same topic. That way , when a problem was given to the group, they were able to work together and teach each other how they got to the answer. 

We would play games such as trivia and be divided to groups. We would be asked random questions and we would share our knowledge about our assumption in order to find the correct answer for the question. It was more difficult because it was necessarily a specific topic but random information in the world.

  In a group discussion we would be given a quote or line from a poem and I would try to interpret what it meant. At first we would come up with a meaning individually and then come together as group to see what we came up with . 

As a child we would go to field trips such as the zoo or the pink palace. Through the field trip we would have a paper to guide us and write down information that caught our attention through out trip. After the trip, in class we would share interesting facts or the answers to our classmates.

An experience I’ve had would be when me and couple of friends were trying to learn this card game. The game was confusing to understand when someone would explain using words. Instead I decided to play in order to understand the game. Once I started playing , I started to understand the game and rules. I was enjoying it. 

  Another experience would be in Art class. We would actively follow the teacher as we tried to learn and follow his technique as he portrayed it in the smart board. We were able to ask question as he drew in order to get a better understanding and view of what he was trying to draw.
