Elvis was born on January 8, 1935. They said it sent shock waves through america, Elvis had crazy dance moves that no one ever heard of. When he went on the <em>Ed Sullivan </em>show the rates went through the ruff. A Lot of singers look up to elvis and how great he was. Elvis was the king, still to today people listen to his music, like <em>Jailhouse Rock, Blue Christmas, HeartBreak Hotel, </em>Etc. In 1958 Elvis was drafted into the war and lost a little bit of his fame. Elvis still known today as the king. Elvis died on August 16, 1977.<br><br>Rock and Roll, “Rock And Roll was everything the suburban 1950s were not. While parents of the decade were listening to Frank Sinatra , Perry Como, and Big Bands, their children were moving to a new beat”. A many kids loved rock and roll.
