i quite like the group work, it was very nice. I got a bit tired of the boring day after a while but it was a good example of a bad student text. Also i still find grammar dull but you made it more fun than the usual drag it can be. I know its important but it makes me lose braincells

This module term is more busy than the first module. And then I'm very confused with the portfolio this time and what to add and what kind of artefacts. I wasn't that confused with the previous portfolio. But I think it's nice with a lot more analysis stuff and then I like the pre-warm ups by groups - also to learn to stand in front of class and teach.

Grammar is hard and sometimes boring, which is obviously a bad combination. That being said, I think you managed to make it about as interesting and pratical as possible. Doing the WILA while learning about grammar was a good idea

I think this term has been the most challenging we've had (of course it's only our second term) but I feel like some of the grammar stuff have been really heavy, and a bit difficult. It's been fun and challenging working with WILA, and now I look forward to a nice long Easter break

I like that Maiken is very creative with her lessons compared to other teacher who can keep talking for hours...

Great variety in the lesson, you can't get bored<3

According to me, breaks are very important, so I like that you give plenty of breaks throughout the lesson... other teachers could learn something from you... no shade #break_kween

I am overall pretty happy with the english classes. Even though grammar can be difficult, Maiken is good at making sure everyone is caught up and asking us if we need to go through something again before moving past it. Sometimes she even senses it even though no one has said anything, which is probably the mark of a good teacher.

I would also like to have more different texts from pupils. I did find the WILA a bit challenging still, but i also find grammar terminology difficult in danish, so it would be nice to be able to work on a different text, to see what i've learned.

I also would like some more clarification of just how much grammar oriented material is expected for the portfolio.

Still love the group activities and your style of managing the lessons, Maiken. However it's been WAY TOO MUCH time for grammar excercises - I got it quite quickly and then found it boring. Working in group is definetely a success, but that's because I've got a nice studyteam.

I love to have about grammar, I think it's fun even I know many think it's boring or difficult. I thought I knew all English grammar but I have realised that there was something I didn't know, for example the perfective or progressive which I think is the hardest in grammar.

I find the English classes well structured with a lot of good info. Even though it is usually at 8 Wednesday morning, I feel motivated to join the class. Very nice with the grammar lessons on top of the WILA (no sarcasm intended).

What I find very sweet is the chill you have towards hand-in assignments. Makes me feel calm.

And also you teachers could communicate better with each other on how many different projects you give us to deliver at almost the same time. It is impossible to manage: 1. so many assignements and 2. a huge load of preparation for each class.

Quite grammar heavy... It is probably necessary, but perhaps we would have benefitted from having a few classes in-between about other stuff, just to get a few breaks?
On the other hand, the readings for the grammar sessions were not that heavy, which really helped. Also, the way you presented the grammar topics was very thorough and with great examples.

There was ALOT of stuff for the WILA/The Boring Day. I'm not sure if working with the same text for both noun and verb stuff was beneficial or detrimental - at some point the two started converging. Perhaps it would have been nice with one text for the noun stuff, another text for the verb stuff.

This module is very interesting. I like the grammar though it is difficult to understand. More assignment of grammar. The pre-warm ups are very good to settle in class. I looses us up.

The classes (read sessions) are great, while obviously they are heavy in both the reading and learning aspect; they are also very clear. Most of the time we understand the purpose and aim of the teaching.
Group work is fine, there isn't to much nor to little, finding a mix between both group activities and explicit teaching is good, as it both motivaties and appeals to everyone (hopefully).
Grammar is a tough one, and something we have to evaulate again when it comes to our portfolio presentation, I recognize now that we don't have to remember every single concept included in verb phrases and noun phrases. But I realize the purpose of the grammar sessions was understanding when grammar teaching is inplicit and explicit, we as teachers need to remember this conciously and subconciously.
With grammar there is a few words that really sticked for me (personally), such as; Hypothesis testing, interlanguage, automatization, etc.
Regarding the WILA, it was tough, but an interesting battle, it was our first time to really delve into a learners text and see how every aspect of grammar is different for them.
