A Visit to Alun-Alun Kidul

Last weekend, I visited Alun-Alun Kidul in Yogyakarta with my friends. It was my first time going there, and I was excited to see the famous twin banyan trees. We arrived in the evening, and the area was lively with many people enjoying the night.

We tried the "Masangin" challenge, where we had to walk blindfolded between the two banyan trees. It was harder than it looked, and I missed the gap! After that, we rented colorful LED bicycles and rode around the square. The atmosphere was fun and festive.

Before going home, we enjoyed some traditional snacks like "Telur gulung" and "Cimol." It was a memorable experience, and I can’t wait to visit Alun-Alun Kidul again.

Bromo, located near Malang in East Java, is a stunning active volcano known for its breathtaking landscapes. Visitors often start their journey early in the morning to catch the sunrise from the viewpoint. As the sun rises, it illuminates the caldera and the surrounding mountains, creating a mesmerizing scene.

After enjoying the view, many choose to explore the Sea of Sand, a vast expanse of volcanic ash. Adventurous travelers can hike up to the crater's rim to witness the volcanic activity up close. The area is also rich in cultural significance, with local Tenggerese people holding ceremonies to honor the mountain.

Bromo's unique beauty and vibrant atmosphere make it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventurers alike.
