Talking About Change
By Summer-Bryze

The season went and seasons came,
Sweet summers turned into sour falls,
In a matter of weeks in the September rain.
Days blur together,
Until they all start to feel the same.

Oh, what could we do?
There seems to be nothing new. . .
Oh, what if you were in my shoes?

The seasons went and seasons came,
Sour falls turned into bitter winters,
I start to feel a little crazy and a little insane.
How do you escape your head . . ?
This careless, thunderous mind I’ve got to tame.

Oh, what could I do?
The playlist is stuck on a loop,
Tell me what you’d do in my shoes.

The seasons went and seasons came,
Bitter winters turned into tart springs,
Everything the winter stole, spring reclaimed.
And thus begins the time for the famous showers and lovely little flowers,
It seems every picture taken is miraculously, perfectly, and naturally framed.

Oh, what is there to do?
All the lovely caged birds have finally flown the coup,
It’s kind of nice to be in my shoes.

The seasons went and seasons came,
Tart springs turned into sweet summers,
Now it seems there is no one to blame.
I realize everything little thing will be okay,
After all, all I have to do is call out the Lord’s name.
