  • Plan and write a story based around an achievement/overcoming obstacles/hitting goals. How do the characters feel/think/change?
  • Rewrite a well-known story but change the main character to a historical figure/inspirational figure/yourself
  • Write a first person recount in role as a historical figure or inspirational achiever
  • Write poetry about inspiration/goals/ dreams/having an impact

  • Research the life of an inspirational figure (family/friend/celeb/historical figure etc). Take notes and write them up
  • Use a variety of sources to take notes (Brainpop, documentaries, websites, encyclopaedias, interviews, books, magazines, news articles etc)
  • Research a portrait of an inspirational figure or create a portrait yourself
  • Compare achievers or achievements: what connections and differences can you identify? 
  • Write a reflection on your own goals- how are you doing? How could you be doing it better?
