Personal benefits of paid caregiving- why do people work as a paid caregiver?

Benefits of paid caregiving is that families that have to leave their actual jobs will be able to still be financially stable by getting paid for caregiving. Financial stress will be less than someone who is an unpaid caregiver. It will maintain better relationships and if an outsider is being paid there will be another bond and relationship to add into the caregiving system of an individuals home (Sage Journals, n.d.).

Family members hiring a paid caregiver are likely to include them in their construction of family and other times, it may be the opposite by excluding them from key performances of family (Kamp & Askegaard, 2022). Support for paid caregivers come from the family of the recipient, it depends on how much trust, appreciation, and support is given from them to the caregiver.
