When the star came it was raining. He went to the Library of Markopoulos and saw a lot of selves. Then a mother with a child came and all went out. The raining stopped and went to see the square of Markopoulos at the centre of town in which a lot of children met there to play games. After that Ben went to the playground and found an old train. After some time Ben went to an old theater Sara. Antoher place Ben wanted to go was windmill, which is very old. 
At the end Ben went to Junior high school of Markopoulos and flew to the sky to meet other stars. From this place Ben see nice Markopoulos and it will never forget this tour.

But where exactly? In which town? 

You are in Slovakia – in our school in a small town Vráble. 

I understand. - The star answered and then  said:  - What a beautiful tree you have. 

The boy said: Yes, we have, because Christmas are coming and just now we are waiting for St. Nicholas. He will bring us some sweets. 

Oh, look, - the boy screamed - just now – he is coming in. At that time  the Star heard the bell and then  a strange person with white long beard  wearing white long cloack came in the class. He was carrying a very big rucksack full of chocolates and sweets. 

Good morning , children. How are you? Were you good all the year?   - he asked. 

Children shouted:  Yes, we were.

Then they sang a song to him and he started to give sweets to all children. He gave a chocolate also to Ben. Ben was so happy. He felt greatly. 

Then the star Ben  and all pupils sang a song to St. Nicholas together. Ben has a lot of new friends now.

The teacher answered: ''Hello, little star. Don't be afraid. You are in Croatia. I am Mrs. Boras and these are my pupils.'' The whole class waved to Ben. Ben looked around and saw  pupils smiling at him. He immediately felt better and said: ''Hello, class! My name is Ben and I am 11 years old. Could you tell me something about you?''

The students answered: ''We are 1.2 class of a vocational trade school in Osijek, Croatia. Osijek is the fourth biggest town in Croatia and it located in the eastern part of Croatia. There is a lot to see in this region, but we also have the mountains in the north of our country and the beautiful clear blue sea in the west. We are 14 and 15 years old and we're looking forward to meeting you! ''

They went inside the school and Ben looked around. ''Wow, your school is big! Why is it decorated?'' The teacher and the pupils replied: ''We decorated the school for Christmas.'' Ben looked at the Christmas tree and felt like he was at home. He asked them: ''Would you mind if I get on top of your tree?'' The pupils told him: ''It would look wonderful.'' 

Ben got on top of the tree and shined across the whole school and the city. The pupils were mesmerised as they were looking at Ben who was smiling the whole time. 

                   1.2 class, Trgovačka i komercijalna škola ''Davor Milas'' Osijek

Students from other schools told him about the cold sea in the north of Europe. But he has never seen it, so he decided to travel to Poland. On the way to the seaside his car broke down. He was standing near the broken car and thinking what to do, when a car stopped and a young man got out and asked: 

“ How can I help you, what happened? By the way, my name is Michał”. 

“ I’m Ben. My car broke down and I don’t know what to do”

“I will help you. “ – told the young man and he took Ben to his school. It was School Complex nr 10 in Koszalin – the school which teaches about cars and how to repair them. 

He was shocked with the size of the school. There were 4 buildings: school, school workshops, dormitory and a school youth hostel. Ben and his new friend went to the workshops to repair the car. There Ben saw modern equipment and met new friends who took care about his car.

In the meantime Michał showed Ben the whole school and told him about school traditions which go back to the 1960’s.

 

After the lessons Ben’s new friends took him to Motopark – racing place which is 15 metres from the school. They rented go-carts and had a very good time racing. After that they went to Aquapark. At the beginning Ben was afraid of swimming but his friends taught him how to do it. 

In the evening Ben went to sleep in the school youth hostel. 

On the second day Ben and his friends went to Mielno – a seaside resort 10 kilometres from Koszalin. There he saw the sea for the first time. He decided to swim in the sea. Water was very cold, but he was swimming and playing with sea creatures: medusas and fish.  

Next they went to a restaurant and ate delicious ice-cream. After dinner they visited some beautiful  seaside resorts, Ben bought some souvenirs and they came back to Koszalin. 

On the third day Ben’s friends took him to Chełmska Mountain located in the forest near the town. They had fun in rope park and after that they went to a little chapel on  the top of the mountain. There Ben said good bye to his friends and set off to other countries in Europe.

    I always wanted to see the stars fallen from the sky. Some said that it was a miracle, an unforgettable experience, because if I make a wish it can be true. So I want to see it sometime.

  And that happen one summer night when I was with my sister and Ben in the balcony of Markopoulos in Athens, Greece. I saw a star fallen from the sky. Without a second thought I make a wish. When I stopped I was wondering if this will become true. Then I was dreaming and wandering if my dream will become true. After some time nothing was happened and I was very disappointed!  

  Then I went with my friend Ben to my parents to help me and give me their opinion about that. My parents explained to me that if I want this to happen I should believe it through my hurt. Then I started to believe it and hopped that it will happen. I always said that I want to be a better person and helped my fellows.

  Then I saw that after some time that my wish came true and I was so excited! I pleased my parents for their advices and I was satisfied that they said to me the story about a fallen star with Ben.

     Do you believe that stars don’t move? No one knows that. My star went to the old church of Markopoulos which is dedicated to Virgine Mary. There was no light there. Then the air flew away the star in a place when there were an old statues, kouros and kori of Frasikleia. These statues were at 5fth century before Christ. The statue of Frasikleia, who died very young is at the Acropolis museum.

   Then the star went on it’s trip to the library of Markopoulos and saw an opened book on the table of library “A child was counting the stars” by Menelaos Loudemis. The star stayed in that book like a picture. Ben borrowed that book and saw a star on the right side of the book. 

  May be this star is only a draw but everyone who read this story knows that it is not true. If you want to borrow that book from the library you will see all this.

1rst high school of Markopoulos Athens. 

 

It was a cold night in December. All stars were discussing with moon in the sky. Only Ben wanted to go to earth at Christmas time. Ben wanted to see christmas tree and stand on it. So after a few days trip went to earth. Ben wanted to put a star in it’s own tree. 

First went to the school of Markopoulos in Athens, Greece and saw that the tree was there and had a star at the top of the tree. Then went to the library, to the centre of Markopoulos, to shops and was wondering at the street. Ben was very disappointed and saw a poor child who was standing in front of a shop. Ben asked the child if he had put a star in his tree and the child answered that he was poor and did not have money for that.

So Ben helped the poor child, Lambis to find a tree and Ben stant at the top of the tree and it was shinning. Then Lambis was happy with his Christmas tree and it’s friend Ben. “Merry Christmas” said the boy to Ben. “I wish everyone to be happy, healthy and have the best Christmas time ever!” added Ben.

When I was young I was wondering what are the stars and why they were shinning. Stars were magic for me. I was afraid of the dark. But the stars were shinning at night and gave me power for my life. 

So I wish that a star will fall from the sky to make a wish. Ben was a very little star that other were laughing and cheating with him. So Ben dicided to fall from the sky to Earth. A child found it and asked him why he fell from sky and how he can speak.  The Ben answered that other stars were laughing with him and decided to go to another planet.

Then Ben went to see the Library of Athens and the Acropolis museum. Then a scientist found Ben with his radar and took him for his investigation research. But when scientist put Ben in his machine it was broken. Then made Ben like a stone.

Other stars from the sky saw this and made their hurt broken for Ben. So that love, care and emotions from others make Ben to shine like a new star. So Ben became a new star with love, faith, power and care for others.
