Hello.  Another idea could be language exchange websites.

There are language exchange websites which allow people who are learning a particular language to practice with native speakers. There could possibly be a school wide version of this created for the entire school to get involved. For example, a student who is learning English, but is a native Arabic speaker, could possibly pair with another student who is learning Arabic, but is a native English speaker. This will not only promote connectedness, but will allow for the student to become more proficient in the English language. I remember when I was young my ELL Teacher would allow use to watch movies but would have subtitles on so we would know how words were spelled. This is something I still do.
