         <description><![CDATA[<div>3-&nbsp; Some instructors add an individual component to group projects. It is important to assess the process as well as the product. It’s always important to articulate your performance criteria so students understand your expectations and standards. &nbsp;<br>2- I had to assess my fellow classmates in 3330 using a rubric.&nbsp;<br>The article mentioned how students become unmotivated by working with those who don't do their share, I find myself in this predicament all the time.&nbsp;<br>1- &nbsp;How often should students engage in group work?</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Comments:<br>1. When assessing a group, it's important that you translate the grade into individual grades.<br>2. The product shouldn't be the only thing assessed. The process is equally important.<br>3. It's important to have the dimensions of the project displayed CLEARLY.<br><br>Connections:<br>1. In college, I have experienced several group projects in which one student did nothing yet received the same grade.&nbsp;<br>2.          <description><![CDATA[<div>3 Summarizing Statements<br>- When you are assessing group work, depending on the objective of lesson, you may want to assess the group's process, final product or both.<br>- Process of the group work can be assessed in a number of ways such as the ability to generate ideas, listening to the different opinions, or distributing work equally.<br>&nbsp;- It is important to discuss the group criteria with the students so they have a clear understanding of the teacher's expectations.<br>2 Connections<br>- In many classes, I have assessed others on the group performance by giving the group mates "a letter" to give them "grow and glow."<br>- I have used a rubric to grade group work in previous classes.<br>1 Question<br>- What other strategies for assessing group work are beneficial?</div>]]></description>
