The children can discuss their emotions and why they may be feeling this way. The children can then also move onto discussions about why this may have been painted- the significance of recording the event. Whilst also experimenting cross circularly with this image in art by using chalks, pastels, paint or collage to create an image that represents a fire, thinking outside the box, using colours that are not the obvious choice for a fire but are complimentary. </div>]]></description>

They can explore digital editing tools to make their photographs of a London landscape look like it's on fire.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Youtube is a great resource for children to share their resources on. The videos can be made private so only people with the URL can find the video or can be shared so other schools can see the digital work that has been created in class. <br><br>One idea would be to get children to create a poem based on the fire. This could be as an account of how they may have felt if they were in the fire, what the fire looked like, a commentary on the events of the fire or maybe Samuel Pepys in the fire. They can then record their poems, either them reading it to the camera or a group of children acting out the events of the poem. The video can then be edited and the children's poems run one after the other and shared on youtube. </div>]]></description>
