         <description><![CDATA[<div>I had the kids write an introductory essay the first week of school and I took time to read the essays. I try to always ask them about anything they've brought up to me -- the break up with their boyfriend, their game, etc. This helps with connection because they see me as someone who genuinely cares about them as a whole person, not just their grade on a project.<br><br></div>]]></description>
