Students can work in small groups of 3-4 students to choose a scene from the text to act out with their finger puppet. </p><p><br/></p><p>How this nurtures creativity: Students are able to envision their character's emotion by understanding the text and pictures, and use their cognitive skills to create a connection. This creates repetition and a quick way for students to work on reading comprehension and well as correcting their own mistakes while reading.</p><p><br/></p><p>How this nurtures creativity: Students are able to hear and recognize their own voice while reading aloud through their "telephone". Students can learn to emphasize certain words and the impact that has on a text. Students must think critically, use their imagination while reading to make connections, and altogether they are able to improve their unique way of reading a text.</p>]]></description>

Student's will tact into their own emotion to choose a song that correlates in a positive way to dance too! Students are free to let loose, move their bodies, communicate with their peers, and connect with themselves internally to re-charge and be motivated and ready to go for the rest of their day.</p><p><br/></p><p>How this futures creativity: Students are able to make that connection within themselves and their emotion to choose a positive-outlook song for the class to take a break with and dance along too. This engages classmates with one another, promotes communication, and allows for students to re-charge, while being creative with their dance moves.</p>]]></description>
