This year, I have learned so much about the spanish language and Costa Rica. I would love to spend some time in Costa Rica. I think that the fact that Costa Rica has more teachers than police says a lot about their society. It is almost a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more teachers you have, the smarter the people are. If people are smart, they do not need to resort to crime, which means less police are needed. I wish America was like that. I think that it would be so cool to go to school in Costa rica, because there is no middle school there and they get out of school earlier than us. I want to become fluent in spanish as I continue to learn. I want to learn more about the grammar of Spanish, and how to construct complex sentences. I liked the notes and the culture assignments. I didn’t like the quizzes as much, but that was because they were quizzes. I think that one of the most helpful things that I learned from this course was the verb Gustar. It allows me to express my likes and my dislikes, and learn about other people. Next time I do a spanish class, I will try to take my time and study. I am so glad that I took this course.
