Following the rapid rise of the Chinese Tech Industry, Mobile Networks have stretched deep along the borderlands. China often deploys cutting edge technologies, like the pictured 5G Base station, into the sparsely populated regions, for the sole purpose of flexing their technological superiority.

Translation:

Mentioning Quanqiutong (Worldwide Net, One of China Mobile's Service Plan) one has to consider China Mobile's excellent network. It was such a backbone that saved 128 tourists while they were in danger in Vietnam and 8 college students in Jinggang Mountain in 2002, and 4 photographers in 2003. All because of China Mobile.

（Comment from me: In Vietnam, tourists relied on local network bands offered by Vietnamese carriers. Quanqiutong's roaming service is not supplied by China Mobile as it claims to be. It is by technicality infrastructure by Vietnamese telecom companies.)

China Telecom, in collaboration with Huawei, has built a base station at 6500 meters altitude for 5G. this is the highest 5G base station in China and the world! A great feat for human communication history! Also worthy of mentioning is the estabilishment of a gigabit fiber optic connection in tandem of the base station. The himalayas have now entered the era of dual mode gigabit networking (meaning both fibre optic and 5g)

2007, China Mobile built the first GSM Base Station at Mt. Everest.

2012, China Mobile built the first 3G Base Station at Mt. Everest, later upgrading to 4g.

2020, China Mobile built the 1st 5G station at more than 6500 meters high.
