         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Passive Voice</strong></div><div>Good morning my dear students.<br>Pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan menjelaskan tentang Passive Voice.</div><div>Passive Voice atau Kalimat Pasif adalah kalimat yang subjeknya dikenai oleh tindakan atau perbuatan.<br><br>Kata kerja dalam Passive Voice dibentuk dengan cara menggabungkan <strong>"to be + verb (Past Participle)<br></strong><br><strong>Pola Kalimat Passive Voice:</strong><br><strong>Subject + Verb (</strong><strong><em>to be + Past) Participle</em></strong><strong> + by ...</strong><br><br> Berikut adalah ketentuannya.<br>1. Subject pada kalimat aktif berubah menjadi object dalam kalimat pasif.<br>2. Object pada kalimat aktif berubah menjadi subject dalam kalimat pasif.<br>3. Predikat dalam kalimat pasif adalah "to be + verb Past Participle)"<br><br><strong>Hal-hal yang harus diperhatikan dalam membentuk Passive Voice</strong><br>1. Kalimat yang dapat dijadikan kalimat pasif adalah kalimat Active Transitive, yaitu kalimat yang kata kerjanya memerlukan objek.<br><br>2. Kata kerja dalam kalimat Passive Voice adalah kata kerja <strong><em>Past Participle</em></strong><br><br>3. Apabila subjek dalam kalimat aktif orangnya tidak tentu, maka objek dalam kalimat pasif boleh ditulis dan boleh juga dihilangkan, seperti <em>by the people, by someone, dll.</em><br><em>Contoh :</em><br>Active  :The people visit the museum.<br>Passive :The museum is visited <em>(by the people)</em><br><br>4.Apabila terdapat dua buah objek dalam kalimat aktif, maka akan terdapat dua bentuk kalimat pasif.<br><em>Contoh :</em><br>Active  : My father gave <strong>me</strong> <strong>the money</strong><br>Passive 1: The money was given to me by my father<br>Passive 2: I was given the money by my father<br><em><br></em><strong>Ketentuan "to be" yang digunakan dalam kalimat Pasif tergantung pada bentuk tense dalam kalimat aktif.<br><br>Perhatikan bentuk "TO BE" berdasarkan tensesnya di bawah ini.</strong><br><br>1. Simple Present Tense : am/is/are + Past Participle<br>2. Simple Past Tense               : was/were + Past Participle<br>3. Future Tense :  shall/will + be + Past Participle<br>4. Present Continuous Tense   : am/is/are + being + Past Participle<br>5. Past Continuous Tense   : was/were + being + Past Participle<br>6. Present Perfect Tense : have/has + been + Past Participle<br>7. Past Perfect Tense  : had + been + Past Participle<br>8. Future Perfect Tense          : shall/will + have + been + Past Participle<br><br><strong>Contoh</strong><br><strong><br>1. Simple Present Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>writes</strong> a letter.<br>b. Passive  : A letter <strong>is written</strong> by Alan.<br><br><strong>2. Simple Past Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>wrote</strong> a letter yesterday<br>b. Passi.ve  : A letter <strong>was written </strong>by Alan yesterday.<br><br><strong>3. Simple Future Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>will write</strong> a letter tomorrow.<br>  b. Passive  : A letter <strong>will be written</strong> by Alan tomorrow.<br>                    <br><strong>4. Present Continuous Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>is writing</strong> a letter.           <br>b. Passive  : A letter <strong>is being written</strong> by Alan.<br><br>5. <strong>Past Continuous Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>was writing</strong> a letter.           <br>b. Passive  : A letter <strong>was being written</strong> by Alan.<br>                   <br><strong>6. Present Perfect Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>has written</strong> a letter.<br>b. Passive  : A letter<strong> has been written</strong> by Alan.<br><br>7. <strong>Past Perfect Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>had written</strong> a letter.<br>b. Passive  : A letter<strong> had been written</strong> by Alan.<br><br>8. <strong>Future Perfect Tense</strong><br>a. Active   : Alan <strong>will have written</strong> a letter.<br>b.
