In 2015 UAE life expectancy was 77.54 compared to U.S which was 78.74. Healthcare is very common to find in UAE. This shows the government spends money on their people. The GDP in 2016 was 348.7 billion which makes it the second largest in the Arab world. Boys are given great affection and pampered by their mothers. Girls also get affection but they are weaned much earlier and not pampered. Boys are taught to respect and obey males often harshly. Children are often given adult responsibilities and sex socialization early in life. Boys work in the field while girls help their mother cook and care for their other siblings. Marriages are arranged by their parents. Girls marry b/w ages 14-19 while boys are usually a little bit older.
