<title> Animals such as fish are a natural resource that needs to be conserved because they are the base of the food chain, if fish fall everything else will fall, us included. 34.2% of fisheries are overfished, comprising 22.7% of seafood. Overfishing is the practice of catching too many fish and only using the amount needed, the rest of the fish are thrown out. This dangerous activity has wiped out more than 70% of specific shark populations in the last 50 years. Over 25% of sharks, rays, and skates are currently threatened with extinction. The biggest cause of all these problems is overfishing and bycatch. We are losing our sealife faster and faster and aren&#39;t doing anything to stop it. Fish and marine life are the base of our food chain, without them the rest of the food chain will crumble.</title>

<title>Fish are found in the ocean, which is consistent around the entire world. Greater populations can be found on the south coasts of Japan, Florida and the Amazon River (which is the fishing capital of the world). Small unknown islands where illegal fishing practices can take place are abundant with fish and other sea life.</title>

<title>Fish are beautiful to look at but also a good source of protein. Sometimes it is used too much and other species are harmed when trying to attain certain breeds of fish. One of the main uses of fish is in soup or seafood, sometimes not enough product is used and the rest is thrown out wasting so much of an important piece of our life.</title>

<title>People like us are the ones who can make a change, all it takes is cutting down the consumption of fish a few days a week. Fish are important to the function of society and if you make a few changes to your week you can help save marine life, they make our oceans beautiful and functional. Cutting down on fish consumption by eating one meal a week containing seafood instead of multiple can make a big difference. Another option is checking certain brands for safe and verified anti-bycatch labels to end support for fish companies that are making other marine life go extinct. One person can inspire a community to make a difference.</title>

<title>If nothing changes our oceans could be completely empty by 2048. Fish populations could go extinct which would harm us, other wildlife, and even the ocean. More and more species will be caught in bycatch and those populations will become rarer and rarer due to the rate of decline. By 2050 there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean, which would cause dangerously low fish populations with less and less chance of survival due to toxic materials in the sea.</title>
