After France sold Louisiana to America, there were border issues between Florida (Spanish territory) and America. Conflict aroused when slaves began to run away into Florida and when the Seminoles and runaway slaves would in turn often raid Georgia landowners and before fleeing back south into Florida. America argued that it was Florida’s job to watch the border but Florida came into disagreement because America was the one with the problem.

In 1817, Andrew Jackson went against the president's orders and raided Spain. This caused Spain to feel threatened by America. Shortly after Andrew Jackson raided Spain, Spain decided to make a treaty with America to sell Florida. 

Florida was acquired through conflict due to the run-away slaves and seminoles raiding Georgia. This caused the border disagreements and then, Andrew Jackson decided to raid Florida and stop the Seminole Indians. He also stole two Spanish forts. After the US owned Florida, a new capital was built and, the remaining Seminole Indians were ordered to move out of the Florida to reservations in the west. Many of the Seminole Indians refused to leave and this caused The Seminole Indian War against America. Most of the Seminole Indians were either killed or they were kicked off their homeland and the government forced them to move west.

Americans refused to adapt to the Mexican culture. Later on, Mexico attacked America and the group was called The Alamo. The Alamo slaughtered many Americans. America returned the favor and attacked Mexico yelling "Remember the Alamo" because America couldn't believe Mexico beat them. After this battle, it caused the Annexation of Texas and then America bought Texas.

The Texas annexation was solved through conflict because America refused to adapt to the culture which started the conflict between American and Mexico (Texas). Then, The Alamo attacked America killing many starting the Texas Revolution. America eventually got Texas by attacking Texas leading to the annexation of Texas.
