A lump sum payment of £615 per year is available to providers who have eligible children in receipt of child Disability Living Allowance who are claiming free early years education.

Parents/carers must give signed permission before an educational psychologist can get involved with a child or young person.  The special needs coordinator, in negotiation with an educational psychologist, will prioritise which children or young people most need support.

If parents or carers are concerned about their child’s progress at school, and think that an educational psychologist might be able to help - they should talk to their Special Needs Coordinator in the first instance.

We will accept the referral if the child or young person has:
• An Ealing GP, and be aged 0-18 (unless they attend an Ealing special school where we are based, in which case we will take referrals up to the age of 19).
• A difficulty or difficulties participating in functional tasks in the areas of self-care, productivity and/or leisure.
