         <description><![CDATA[<div>Neurofibromatosis 1 is caused by a mutation in the MF1 gene in the 17th chromosome of a cell. It can happen while the fetus is growing. Neurofibromatosis 2 can be caused by a mutation in the 22nd chromosome of a cell. Schwannomatosis can be caused by mutations of genes that suppress tumors.</div>]]></description>

It occurs in children, but it can affect people after the age of 20, with the symptoms appearing between 25 and 30. In general, it affects 1 in 3000 people.</div>]]></description>
