In this group, many factors in relations to Yalom's Therapeutic Factors can be identified. First we could see universality amongst the group. With all members of the group dealing with anxiety, this will allow students to recognize that they are not alone. By sharing how testing anxiety affects them, this too shows what they have in common. Another factor that may be present is direct advice. In each session group members will be learning skills and techniques to incorporate to help with testing anxiety. Lastly, Interpersonal learning may be present. This results from gaining feedback from others and practicing new ways of learning. When trying new breathing techniques or coping skills, students will discuss what has helped them and how they incorporated this. Each technique and skill is can be unique to an individual, if we work as a team, we can find which is most beneficial.
