Waupun has different opportunities to volunteer for different organizations that you can help the community and environment. Some (not all) of the organizations you can volunteer for are:
          a. Waupun Heritage Museum
          b. Waupun Food Pantry
Ways that you can also help the food pantry is by going by going around in the community looking for anyone who would be willing to donate to the food pantry
          c. Marsh Haven Nature Center
At the Marsh Haven Nature Center you will help the DNR take care of the wildlife such as the Horizon

These locations are always open to different types of volunteering, either you can help by going out into the community or staying in the store/building to help as well. This is not a full list, there are more organizations around Waupun or that you can find in your own town that you can help as well.

3. Visit Our Parks and Statues
Waupun has over 7 parks that all have their different playground equipment and area to spend time in. Geocaching
Geocaching is a fun game of hide and seek where you would use a GPS or some sort of device to find through coordinates and clues what is called a geocache. A geocache is a small container that is hidden and has a prize in it. Usually you can take the prize but you should also put something else in it for the next persona as well. If you are interested, go to geocaching.com. At the site, you watch the video for more information and can sign up for free so you can start geocaching whenever!

2. City League Sports
The Waupun community offers city league sports within it's season, such as: soccer, baseball, softball, flag football (eventually tackle football), hockey and more. Although there is a fee for some, it gives children the opportunity to get outside, stay active, meet new people and new experiences. 3. Waupun Family Aquatic Center
Waupun has an aquatic center where in the summer you can go swimming and have fun. The Waupun Family Aquatic Center is located at 701 County Park road and for more information such as admissions, times, summer pass and/or family pass, click here.

The Fond Du Lac County Park gives opportunities for anyone to go camping overnight. Although there is a fee for staying and a reservation, it is a fun experience to go camping somewhere other than your backyard and is still close to home. There are park shelters, showers, bathrooms and places on each campsite that has electrical hook up. Waupun has its very own frisbee golf course within the Fond Du Lac County Park as well. Frisbee golf is a mixture of golf and frisbees. The way the scoring works is just like golf, where you want to make the object into the hole the least amount of times as possible. However, instead of hitting a ball with a golf club, you throw frisbees. This course is a 9-hole course and is free to play, and if you want any more information you can visit travelwisconsin.com

6. Fishing
Waupun has a little river called the Rock River that runs through Waupun and through the Mill Pond located in the middle of Waupun. However, you will have to make sure you have a fishing license, which is easy to purchase either at a local gas station or you can purchase and print it online at this website. When you go fishing, you can catch different types of fish such as carp, bluegill, bullhead and northerns and more!

          a. Fond Du Lac County Park
          b. Edgewood Trail
          c. Horicon National Wildlife Refuge
While you go out for walks in these beautiful areas, bring along friends to make it more enjoyable. You can also bring along trash bags, so as you go along you can help clean the environment leave it better than what it was before.

Kayaking and/or Canoeing
Also, you are able to kayak and canoe along the Rock River or around the Mill Pond where there is a beautiful Fountain. Kayaking and Canoeing is a fun experience to relax with others. However, make sure that someone is licensed and also has experience in paddle sports so that they can teach you or you can teach others.
