They were treated terribly for trying to learn but they were supported by the government and ensured their safety.          <description><![CDATA[<p>Peaceful protests were done without any violence if they were hit they wouldn't hit back. Many protests during this time were peaceful yet these were also effective it showed they wanted to co-exist, not fight tooth and nail. these protests had such an effect this was MLK's main way of doing his protests which were a very strong in getting his word out.</p>]]></description>

This boycott had involvement from Rosa Parks who helped fight this bus company for equal seating. This boycott lasted a year when the bus had lost this ability due to Alabama due to the segregation laws they had being unconstitutional. </p>]]></description>

The way it was solved was this was considered a breach of the 14th amendment because it was supposed to be equality meaning equal protection for all. So the company that owned the motel tried to fight it in court. They lost the fight because they had violated another law so they couldn't claim their defense.</p>]]></description>

This couple lived in Virginia where their marriage they had was considered illegal because it was violating a law that was in place in the 1920's. Because of this law they were told to leave Virginia or be put in prison for violating that law so they left and tried to appeal to the supreme court of Virginia after a while they did and helped end a racist act against interracial couples.</p>]]></description>
