He was born at the rectory in Steventon, Hampshire.&nbsp; Her family belonged to the British gentry (rural nobility or agrarian bourgeoisie), a context from which she did not emerge and in which she places all of her works, always around the marriage of her protagonist.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Steventon, 1775 – Winchester, 1817) is the first great woman in English literature.&nbsp; However, her talents did not always receive unanimous acceptance and, although she achieved fame for her in her lifetime, she was slow to achieve the canonical position she holds today.&nbsp; Jane, the sixth and last daughter of the Reverend of Steventon, lived forever with her parents, siblings, and her nephews in Hampshire and Bath.&nbsp; Educated at home and with a vast library at her disposal, she wrote stories from a very young age, which are collected in her Juvenilia.&nbsp; Before the age of twenty-one, she began making Pride and Prejudice.&nbsp; After her, she would be followed by Mansfield Park, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, ​​Persuasion, The Watsons and Northanger Abbey, works that she would rewrite throughout her life.</div>]]></description>
