Challenges
--Kids just want to know if they are right or wrong
--Needs an "answer" to monitor
--Getting to all students and giving all students good feedback
--Kids ask questions during the monitoring, throwing off our pace of monitoring (and sometimes we won't get to everyone on time)
--Kids sometimes do not understand the feedback symbols

  • Sometimes there is not enough time to give meaningful feedback to every student

Difficulties: Not always able to give students purposeful feedback because students work at different pacing.
