He enjoys creative activities such as drawing, painting and constructing with blocks or playdough, showing patience and focus. Liam is confident in manipulating small objects and demonstrates growing hand-eye coordination, which supports his emerging writing and drawing skills.

Liam approaches fine motor tasks with enthusiasm and determination and his skills continue to develop well in readiness for the next stage of learning.

He demonstrates good attention to detail and is able to recognise letters, numbers and simple words in a variety of contexts. Liam enjoys activities that challenge his visual discrimination, memory and spatial awareness and he approaches these tasks with enthusiasm and focus.

He is able to recognise and describe both 2D and 3D shapes and can sort and classify objects according to shape, size and colour. Liam enjoys practical activities involving patterning, measuring and problem-solving and he can interpret simple graphs and data with support.

His growing mathematical skills and number sense provide a strong foundation for future learning and he approaches mathematical tasks with curiosity and enthusiasm.

He is a friendly and considerate member of the class, showing kindness and respect towards his peers and teachers. Liam approaches new challenges with determination and enjoys learning both independently and collaboratively.

It has been a pleasure to watch Liam grow academically, socially and emotionally this year and he is well prepared for the next stage of his learning journey.
