         <description><![CDATA[<div>Julius Caesar-  A renowned military leader, politician and scholar in ancient Rome.  He led to the rise of the Roman empire, although, the wealthy members of the Senate murdered him. <br><br>Tiberius Gracchus-  He was known for his struggles on behalf of the poor people of Rome, and made efforts to bring relief to the lives along with his brother Gaius Gracchus.<br><br>Constantine- Unified the divisions in the Roman kingdom. Constantine then decided to relocate the capital from Rome to what was Byzantium. He renamed the new capital, Constantinople.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Art- Many free standing sculptures, bronze casting, vase art, mosaic,  metal work, and jewelry. <br>Agriculture-  Included grains such as wheat, barley, which were used for making bread, as well as grapes for wine and olives for oil.<br>Literature- Roman literature was written in the Latin language. Historical epics telling of the early military history of Rome, followed by poetry, comedies, histories and tragedies.<br>Language- Romans spoke Latin, a language that is now known as a "dead" language today. </div>]]></description>
