Thomas Edison invented the light bulb in 1879. He created it so that people might function even in the absence of light outside by providing a dependable source of light both indoors and out. Because it allowed people to do things after dark, the light bulb transformed people's lives. Previously, they relied on oil lamps or candles, which were unsafe and had short lifespans.

A fly swatter is a usually a square sheet of wire mesh attached to a long handle. Its purpose is to kill insects, flies,p,and mosquitoes, etc… .The first modern fly-destruction device was invented in 1900 by Robert R. Montgomery, an entrepreneur based in Decatur, Illinois. On January 9, 1900, Montgomery was issued U.S. patent

#640,790 for the "Fly-Killer". It was invented to raise public

awareness of the health issues caused by flies. A flyswatter is

ideally lightweight and stiff, allowing quick acceleration to overcome the fast reaction time of the fly (six to ten times faster than a human), while also minimizing damage caused

by hitting other objects.

Fouad Bashar 7E

Johannes Gutenberg in Germany around 1440 is credited with inventing the movable type printing press. However, earlier versions existed in China. They were made to mass produce printed materials such as books and pamphlets. This was an important invention because prior to the printing press, books were copied by hand, a slow and laborious process that limited the spread of knowledge and ideas. The printing press allowed for the creation of multiple copies of a text quickly and cheaply. The printing press revolutionized communication and the spread of knowledge. It led to the spread of literacy, the rise of vernacular languages, and the development of new ideas during the Renaissance. It also played a key role in the Protestant Reformation by allowing for the mass production of religious texts.

Mohammad Al Dubayyan

The invention of the wheel is undoubtedly one of the most significant developments in human history, with profound impacts on civilization. Top of Form

The invention of the wheel is believed to have occurred around 3500 BCE in ancient Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq). However, it's essential to note that the wheel was not a single invention by a specific individual but rather a gradual development over time.

The earliest known wheels were not used for transportation but rather for pottery making. Pottery wheels were used to shape clay into vessels, and it is thought that the concept of the wheel for transportation originated from observing these spinning wheels.

The earliest evidence of wheeled vehicles for transportation comes from around 3000 BCE in Mesopotamia and the Indus Valley Civilization (modern-day Pakistan and northwest India). These early wheeled vehicles were likely simple carts with solid wooden wheels.

While we don't know the names of the specific individuals who invented the wheel, its development was undoubtedly a result of the ingenuity and innovation of ancient peoples in various parts of the world.

The invention of the wheel likely arose out of the need to transport heavy loads more efficiently. Before the wheel, humans relied on dragging or carrying heavy objects, which was labor-intensive and limited the quantity and distance of goods that could be moved.

The wheel made it possible to transport goods more easily by rolling them along the ground. This reduced friction and allowed for the movement of heavier loads over longer distances with less effort. Additionally, the wheel facilitated the development of wheeled vehicles like carts and wagons, which further improved transportation capabilities.

In addition to transportation, the wheel also had other applications, such as pottery making (with the invention of the pottery wheel), which contributed to its development and adoption in various cultures.

Overall, the invention of the wheel was driven by the practical need to overcome the limitations of manual labor and to improve the efficiency of transporting goods, leading to significant advancements in human civilization.
