Hi!

My name is Igor, and I'm a senior transfer student in the Chemical Engineering program.

I'm Brazilian and before come to the U in january, I was studying in Paris.

Last spring, I took the LEAP 1500 class and thoroughly enjoyed our discussions about engineering and society. This inspired me to enroll in LEAP 1501 this semester.

I have a passion for traveling and photographing natural landscapes.

My name is Dr. J and I have been teaching ELEAP for 11 years. I went to a conference in Manahattan last week and this is a picture of me at the Guggenheim Museum on 5th Avenue. I've lived in Utah for the past 21 years, but I am from Redondo Beach, CA. I attended UC Berkeley, UCLA, and Humboldt State before moving to Utah in 2003. My degrees are all in Literature, but I have taught writing, communication, ethics and sustainability in the College of Engineering here at the U for 20 years. My favorite pastimes are making beaded jewelry and playing role playing games with my friends.

Hi, I'm Xin Bai, I am from China. I entered the university of utah in 2019 to start my undergraduate course.For me, this is the beginning of my life, because this series of experiences are an integral part of my life.

I used to major in mechanical engineering because my father owns a mechanical engineering company and I hope to take over his responsibilities, but now I want to try a field that I have never tried before, so I am now going to start my ECE course.It is precisely for this reason that leap courses are required courses for ECE majors. I am also very happy to meet you, share my experience and discuss some issues with you, because this can also improve my ability and broden my horizon。

Outside of class, I am also a person who likes traveling and photography. Because when you have been to many places, you realize how wonderful it is, and how cool it is to take some particularly beautiful and special photos that are a good thing to leave our memories.

Hi! I'm currently taking classes through the HSUP, but I'm entering my sophomore year in terms of time at the university and credit hours. When I eventually attend the university for real, I will absolutely be a math major, but I plan to add another major or two in physics/computer science/electrical engineering depending on how many credits I can accumulate in high school. I chose to take this class partially because it fulfills a general education credit, but also because I want to learn a little bit more about engineering, as it's a field I'm interested in but isn't something I'm super knowledgeable about. Outside of school, I enjoy playing video games and taking part in FRC (team 3243!).
