For students that are blind it would be hard for students to visually see the differences in words and spelling but overall I don't think it would be hard for them to learn a L2 language because most of L2 acquisition stems from verbal skills such as the rhythm of words and letter sounds. Many young children learn language as a child before they can read, and though they still can see blind children get the same benefit of learning language due to their ability to still hear. For deaf students learning a new language can be difficult as they will be lacking that verbal sound aspect of hearing how words sound.
