I learnt that in some way we are able to relate that transition to polytechnic was different compared to secondary school/ ite/ pfp.

However, we learn to cope and manage the challenges we overcome by learning and improving.

I learnt about new things about my classmates and having giggles with them. I’ve realised that everyone’s struggles are different and that it is okay to make mistakes! Sometimes you just have to persevere no matter how many assignments you get bombed with ☺️

It's a start to understanding and hearing from others on how each other feels. Given the busy school life, we might not take the time to hear from others and understand what they going through.

I learnt that everyone faces their own struggles, and we should not be too quick to judge others as they may be struggling with their personal problems outside from school. We can also try to be more understanding and open to help them.

We opened up to each other slightly after more than a month together in the same class, and it was nice knowing how all of us have lived in the same places and experienced the same or wildly different things.

I hope we can be a cohesive class that will maintain friendly relationships past graduation

i find that the session was insightful and relatable. it makes me understand that i’m not alone when facing such issues and that everyone is going through the same thing. it’s important to be understanding and caring as others issue may be overlooked

It was comforting to know that I am not the only one who feels in a certain way. Everyone has different backgrounds, so listening to their viewpoint of how things work out for them and learning from their mistakes is something I can learn on in the future.

This seesion has allowed me to know that i am not alone in not knowing what i really want to do in the future. Having graduated high nitec in early childhood, i have 2 extra years of experiences than peers younger than me, most would expect me to know (my parents)what i would like to do in the future but even me myself dont have an answer for that, they are also pushing me into going uni but i would not like to rush into something im unsure of. While studying early childhood, i really wanted to become an educator, yet after internship i realised how it wasnt something i wanted to do. Yet when i came here and saw others in early childhood havign fun and being bonded with their classmates, i felt like i wanted to appeal but i thought back and remembered i do still want to become a child protection officer( which is why im here in cdt) .
