I usually use body language to build trust, I smile, I look at the students in their eyes and call them by their names. It is also important to listen, show that we hear them, and ask questions about what they say. This shows confidence and brings students and teachers together.

I think building confidence takes time. I usually feel confidence with when I have a truly planned lesson. I also feel confidence when I relate to the topic of the lesson. I think you can deal with low confidence by bringing in something of yourself. kids love listening to something that happened to you. of course make it short and then get back to learning

I think one learns to be confident only with practice. For example, I used to be very nervous about any social interaction when I was younger but I challenged myself, interacted with people at every possible occasion and it gradually got better. Self-development books and various articles about confidence also helped me (check medium.com for inspiration). These days, I rarely feel low in confidence because I'm honest with my students. If I don't know something, I tell them and we figure out the answer together.

First of all, none of us knows everything. My approach is friendly and I respect the students' opinion and their questions. Sometime I do not know all answers. I often learned some facts from my student. Teaching is a two-way process. Be well prepared, but sometimes you have to improvise. Self-confidence is built for years of experience and needs to be taught in mistakes and further developed.

It's difficult for a teacher to control the course when the students's interest are low in the classroom. there are a few methods that I refer to in this case. for example; I draw attention to the class by asking an unexpected question. or tell a funny or interesting story. ask for ideas for solution proposal. I will continue my classroom after taking care of them.

I think it could be useful to show student my confidence in the classroom menagment. In the meantime, I would like to underline how learning is never completed and total covering our question! We, me too, should never think to have completed our learning but we should keep minds active with more and more questions. ..I do not want to be perfect at my students' eyes but I want to be a posive example!

I am confident at all time in the classroom. Because i see my students as my friend and i behave them friendly, but the balance is vital.so sometimes i treat them kindly but firmly.however, i provide a environment of trust. So my students like me and feel comfortable during lesson.and they learn better. If i did not have confidence , i would not focus on teaching. And i would not be useful for my pupils.

Confidence is the most important element before starting.If you are confident,you can share your ideas very easily,respond their answers in aquick way.
When ı feel low in confidence,especially at the beginging of the educatıon year I couldnt sleep that night,I take a deep breath and prepare lots of activities in order to motivate them my lesson with using ıcebreaking activities.

Students like being supported and encouraged. Nobody wants to be criticized without clear evidence. If you are honest with them they will appreciate that. Also, a sense of humour helps a lot. Even teachers make silly mistakes.

even if I make mistakes I always have the confidence I am like their mother I do not have confidence they will not learn anything from me.

I think it's always good to be honest with the pupils! It' s OK to say that you don't know something, we are only human not perfect. I think it is important to be ready - to prepare lessons in advance, but also to be able to improvise a little bit (it comes with practice). What helps me a lot is when I can see that pupils like the subject/topic, so sometimes I prepare interesting or sometimes even funny activities. If it works and pupils like it, I feel good as well :-).

It's normal for a beginner to feel unsecure at the begining of his or her teaching career. After 3 years of teaching I don't feel myself totally confident especially when I don't know the topic very well or I am less prepared for the lesson. I keep calm and try to deal with.

I'd say I simply pretended well when I started teaching a year ago. I was horribly insecure, since I worked at a different job for years and begun teaching at the age of 34 - but I pretended to be confident, and it worked. There are situations when pretense doesn't work, though - but during this first year, I've learned that the best way to go is to not be afraid to admit to myself and to my students that I am not all-knowing, I can make mistakes and there are things I am still learning. I think that, alongside with being well prepared, a honest rapport to students is the best way to feel more confident.

Being well prepared for the class make me confidence. Off course a lot of factors depends on the atmosphere in the class and it may not work every time. I always try to be positive, a sense of humor helps a lot. There is no recipe for it. Sometimes I need to

Per me, il rapporto docente/alunno, deve essere basato sulla fiducia e l'affetto reciproco. Un modo per fare sviluppare fiducia nei confronti dell'insegnante , é quello di mettere l'alunno al centro di tutto. Cioè fare in modo che si senta accettato, valorizzato e apprezzato in ogni suo sforzo. È compito nostro essere presenti, vigili, severi, propositivi e comprensivi, e avere la volontà di cambiare ciò che non va in noi o fuori di noi, e sforzarci a fare meglio perché " senza relazione non c'è nessun apprendimento "

I think that besides having a detailed lesson plan to have confidence for any disruption that may appear, and besides having the gift of improvisation (that is gained throughout the years of practice), it is good to hava a bank of resources in a folder or different ones selected and classified with titles, these could be like our "teaching band-aids" for our class sessions. So that the class will always appear flowing with a clear goal for students, although, I, as a teacher, guide and facilitator know that we´re in the middle of a storm. In those circumstances I need to make them feel safe, and even have the storm unnoticed by the class. It´s like when performing in the arts and the audience, the public should not notice errors and the performers have everything flowing.

I also think that being honest and staying calm even if something unexpected happens is very important. Pretending to be confident really works great for me, cause after a while I really feel confident, although I was a bit nervous at the beginning. In times of anxiety feeling self confident seems difficult. This times, we have to keep in mind the reason why we chose to be teachers, that we're are standing in front of our students with the best of intentions. We'll do everything into our power for them. But also, we have to keep in mind that we don't control everything. And that we're not perfect. Every moment of discomfort may be a challenge for improvement.
Be in the flow, take a breath and everything will be ok.
