I here my name.
I see some of my friends talking
I hear them talking
about me. 
I hide.
They keep talking
When I see my so called 
Best friend in their.
Bam I am hurt.
I hear him say
“ Jared is such a wanna be and is probably the one of the worst athletes in our gym class.”
I see a the rest of my friends nod.
I get home
When my mom gets home she sees me crying.
I could have cried a river if my mom didn't cheer me up.
That statement.
Those words. 
Made me work harder on everything.
My sports.
My school work.
Finding better friends.
Standing up to bullies like that.
It is unfair
It is wrong that people can't see that we are all the same
That we are not different
That we are all humans.

I know who did it I think to myself
I walked away confused
I was lightheaded with the thought of how unfair the situation was.

Inhumane thing happen 
Right before my eyes
Some poor 6th grader got bullied
Right back to the middle of the bus
Where he “Belongs” 
Man, I wish I could do something 
But I was too late
I couldn’t help that kid, so I just watched the kid
“Poor kid”, I thought.
So, I have always had that on my conscious,
And I think to myself that I could have helped 
If I wasn’t too weak to stand up…

My family and I were going to see the rabbits
Going to report back to my grandpa because he raises them
Something caught  my attention on the way their
I look over to see a mother yelling at her child
I couldn’t believe my eyes
The woman just slapped her child across the face
I was speechless
Just standing there thinking about what I witnessed
I wish I would’ve walked over to say something
Apparently my sister saw it too
She was just as shocked as I was
My blood was boiling now
I hate to see unfairness, especially to a child
Just then my sister yanked my arm
“Let’s go catch up with mom and dad.”

But I don’t mind it,
I even like it.

I kick back and play a game with a Smirk on my face,
Knowing that i’m getting the high Life while my siblings are going Through hell.
There is one thing that they will say To me while they’re doing chores.
“Your life is unfair.”

Such a freedom loving country revoking other’s basic human rights.
How ironic that such a country diminishes one’s humanity based on their skin tone.
Our government always claims to want the best for their citizens.
How hypocritical.
The same government that doesn’t even provide their people with the basic necessities to survive.
The same government that reduced people of different race to animals.
How sad that our dark past is undiscerned by most.
Do we really live in the democracy that we claim to be?
The same “democracy” that has racial prejudices to their own citizens.
The same democracy that is turning their own citizens against each other.

She’s sat on her bed crying for ten minutes
Her dad walks in and sits at the end of the bed
He says softly” I’m sorry for yelling, it’s just your too young to go out with them and your sister wouldn’t even be watching you”
She says”it’s okay daddy we can hangout instead”

A shriek comes from the hallway, and all noise is seized.
My eyes look up in shock
Over the crazy world we are in.
All had to look, and try not to grin 
It is not their fault they were given this trouble. 
Their reactions and looks are just a tiny part of their hard struggle.
How would they like it if they had to deal with this pain.
It’s insane how people laugh, when they cry over games.
It is cruel how people can be this way.
Judging all people, no matter the struggles they are in.
No time to mock, no time to grin
No reason to imitate
That’s just rude, don’t be this way.

I was throwing a baseball with my brother one day.
I don’t know why
But I aimed for the bright, blue sky
And I threw the ball a mile high.
The ball came whizzing down fast
And although it was far in the past
I still feel badly about what happened
On that fateful, humid summer day.
The ball hit the bathroom window hard 
WHACK!
And left a crack
How large, maybe a yard.
I knew I was in trouble.
Days trickled by
And I still didn’t tell my parents why the window was cracked. 
They blamed it on my brother
Because I didn’t tell my mother that it was me.
I felt utterly sad
That my mom and dad 
Declared that the innocent was guilty.
The hot summer days turned to windy autumn days
And still the crack remained.
One day
After staring out the window in a thoughtful way
I realized what I had to do.
So two chilly days later 
I did my brother a favor
And told my parents the truth.
I thought they would be mad
But to my surprise they were glad
That the truth had, once again, prevailed.
And now when I stare out the new bathroom window,
I see the world clearer.

A shriek comes from the hallway, and all noise is seized.
My eyes look up in shock
Over the crazy world we are in.
All had to look, and try not to grin 
It is not their fault they were given this trouble. 
Their reactions and looks are just a tiny part of their hard struggle.
How would the blessed people like it if they had to deal with this pain.
It’s insane how they laugh, when they cry over games.
It is cruel how people can be this way.
Judging all people, no matter the struggles they are in.

The kid was blaming me of his actions
Everyone knew it was him who did it, but he was cool and I was not
I felt weak
I wanted to run
I wanted to hide
