Ember has a lasting impression on Chase though she does not realize it in the beginning. We see this because of the way Chase treats Ember throughout the book. For instance when he fights those two men for her and almost sacrifices himself. She is always thinking for a solution. She speaks a lot against the Federal Bureau of Reformation, for instance when she " I liked the idea of people striking against the mm."

They are the ones who took away Ember's mom. This was one of the main conflicts. Not only is it a Man vs. Man conflict but later it is a Man vs Herself conflict. It was very believable because there is definitely a possibility of removing the bill of rights. The characters were very believable with real world problems. I personally love sci-fi books... especially dystopian books. I love the writing style of this book. This book was a very fun, exciting book. The characters relationship with one another was funny but also cool.  Ember is a very relatable person in the way of her problems and the way she feels about her problems. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone. The way Chase just takes control of the situation as the two robbers jump them shows us that he is a leader. Another example of him being a leader is when he breaks Ember out of the facility. He once agains takes control of the situation and comes out victorious.
