They will record their day-to-day participation (activity type and duration) in Padlet check-ins at least five times throughout the week.</sub></p></li><li><p><sub>Students will reflect on the physical and mental effect of combining movement with mindfulness. Students will post a comprehensive reflection on Padlet describing at least two physical advantages and two mental advantages they felt.</sub></p></li><li><p><sub>Students will collaborate with peers by revealing wellness goals and offering feedback. Students will deliver meaningful, constructive feedback on at least two classmates’ reflections, providing inspiration or suggesting wellness advice.</sub></p></li><li><p><sub>Students will display self-awareness and goal-setting skills by pinpointing areas for personal growth. In their last reflection, students will recognize one new wellness habit they plan to continue and describe why it is valuable for their overall wellbeing.</sub></p></li></ol>]]></description>

         <title>Short Instructional Activity Description</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p><sub>The Mind-Body Wellness Challenge is intended to support physical and mental well-being through constant participation in physical activity combined with mindfulness practices. Using Padlet, students will share their goals, reflect on their development, and collaborate with peers by providing feedback and encouragement. Students will start by watching a short YouTube video posted on Padlet highlighting the benefits of linking movement with mindfulness. Students will then post their wellness goals in the “Goals” section of the Padlet board.</sub></p><p><br/></p><p><sub>Students can share their goals as text, video, or audio, making the activity open to all learners. Each day, a student will choose a physical activity (jump rope, walking/jogging, bodyweight exercises) and couple it with a mindfulness practice (deep breathing, yoga, journaling). Students will participate in the activity for 15-20 minutes and then record their activity by posting a daily check-in in the “Daily Check-ins” part of the Padlet </sub></p><p><sub>board. </sub></p><p><br/></p><p><sub>Students will review at least two classmates’ reflections throughout the week. They will leave positive, encouraging feedback or offer a helpful tip in the “Peer Support” section of Padlet in the form of audio, text, and video. At the end of the week, students will post a final reflection in the “Reflections” tab of the Padlet. Students will reflect on what they felt the most beneficial part of the challenge was to them and how the challenge affected their physical and mental well-being.</sub></p>]]></description>
